July: Knowledge and TruthJuly: Knowledge and Truth
This month we’d like you to consider what it means to know something.
Epistemology, a branch of philosophy, delves into the study of knowledge itself. It explores questions such as: What does it mean to know something? How do we acquire knowledge? Can knowledge be objective? Epistemology investigates the nature, scope, and limitations of human knowledge, aiming to understand how we come to believe and justify our beliefs about the world. By examining different theories and approaches to knowledge, epistemology offers a framework for understanding the nature of truth, skepticism, perception, and the very foundations of our understanding of reality.
